  Unfortunately this location is closest to where my boyfriend lives, so this is the one we frequently go to. We tried the one in Arlington and I would give them 5 stars. The portion size is significantly different in both locations- I always finish my bowl at this location and I’m still hungry after, but when we went to the Arlington location I had to take some some because I was so full. I feel like every Tokyo Joe’s should be consistent with their portion size, especially when I’m paying $10+ for one bowl. If we could avoid this location we would, but it’s more convenient to visit this one. The staff always seems like they are in a bad mood also. Good food, just poor portion sizes for your money.

  Absolutely love this place! If you're looking for authentic Japanese food, Tokyo Joes is not the place. However, they do offer delicious bento boxes, build your own rice/noodle bowls, and pretty good sushi. I would highly recommend this to any diners looking for a more delicious and healthy alternative to restaurants similar to Pei Wei and Panda Express. Tokyo Joes is essentially an American-style Japanese food restaurant with a great selection of flavorful dishes.
